Separation Anxiety
by: Mark

Yes it does seem like anxiety as he has not settled into his new home yet. Does he have his own bed or crate also cuddle toys are good.

Ensure you are giving him quality adult time as you need to be in charge so he feels secure. Take him on walks and have play time with the children with a variety of toys. Toilet him regularly.

When your child leaves the room reassure your dog that your child will return shortly. Practice an exercise where your child leaves for a few seconds and then returns slowly increase time until your dog realizes that the child always returns after a while. This may take a little time.
