It is important to introduce a new healthy dog food to your dachshund slowly. Gradually add a little of the new food to their current diet each day. Increase over about 6-7 days until he is having completely new food.
Some food is especially formulated for your puppy some others are suitable for all life stages adults and puppies, while others are adult food only, check before deciding.
Whatever brand and type of food you decide for your little dachshund friend, remember that what is good for one dog may not be good for another.
