To some enthusiasts these lively little dogs are also known as dashies, doxies,teckel,wiener dogs or sausage dogs due to their long sausage like body.
I am an owner, our family is doxie crazy and perhaps you are too, or perhaps you just want to find out more about this popular, little dog.
Lively and loveable, intelligent and loyal, dachshund dogs are always full of fun and surprises.
We were lucky enough to adopt a cute little doxie, Jazz as we call her, was needing a new family and we were delighted to take her into our home, she now is an important member of our family, friend, companion, watch dog, to name a few.
Jazz was already toilet trained, but I continued with the obedience training which I think we both enjoyed, Jazz the treats and myself the successes.
